as well as there, reporting visibility down to 3/4s of a mile, give yourself extra time this morning. the winds light, west southwesterly breeze through the delta has weakened in the last hour or so through fairfield, 49 in santa rosa, 51 napa, our numbers within a few degrees of yesterday, some of us cooler, some of us warmer, 60 degrees livermore, 57 san jose, 54 redwood city, 50s mountain view, palo alto, 50s san francisco as well as oakland. a look at the forecast here. we have got the flow again off the coast. over the coming days it will continue to circulate that cooler air into the area. it is going to thicken our marine layer. it is going to strengthen that onshore breeze. it is going to drive our temperatures down. for today just a few degrees. the southwesterly wind will be kicking up through the delta and the bay for the afternoon. 15 to 25 miles per hour expected. >>> running you through your afternoon, by about noontime, 70s around the bay. we have got 60s along the east bay coast -- stretch there and we have got 60s along the peninsula as well as the coast and low 80s

the first crack at owning the latest iphone in the u.s.. the release of the phone is drawing huge crowds across the country. americans are not the only ones that camped out outside apple stores. this is the scene earlier today in tokyo. apple fans carried their apple umbrellas to keep the rain off their gadgets as they waited to buy new ones. the company could sell between 6-10 million iphones this weekend. apple cofounder was the first people in line in australia. his caption on this photo says in line for first iphone five in the world. he waited in line for hours when the iphone 4s was released. >>> republican presidential nominee mitt romney returns to the bay area to raise money for his campaign. afternoon fundraiser scheduled right there. news chopper 2 flew over the estate yesterday. tickets are $50,000 a person which begins at 4:45 this afternoon. in a couple weeks president obama will return here to the bay area for a san francisco concert and rally fundraiser. according to bay area news group that october 8th event will be held at the bill graham civic auditorium. tickets range
